It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts the Family of Yves Leclair announce his passing on Saturday, November 20th, 2021.

He was the loving husband of Donna the love of her life, married for 48 wonderful years. Beloved Father of: Jasen (Elizabeth) Patrick (Pamela) Nicholas (Felicia) cherished Deda Papa to our Williem and Grand-Papa to our Victoria, Sofia, Bryce, Briana and Keira.

Yves is also survived by his dear brother Robert (predeceased), dear sister Nicole and dear brother-in-law André, dear brother-in-law Kerry and dear sister-in-law Andrea, dear brother-in-law Glenn (predeceased) and dear sister in-law Beverley.

He will also be dearly missed by other Family members nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His loving parents Anna and Romeo have greeted him with open arms.

Yves had such a beautiful personality and a wonderful sense of humour. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He had a heart of Gold.

Yves was a Family man and was happiest when he was surrounded by his loving sons, precious grandchildren, family and friends. He loved life and he lived it to the fullest.

Yves worked for 35 years at Air Canada. He was very involved with the Union and Health and safety. He was very proud working there.

Yves was very active in sports: Hockey, baseball, softball and golf. He was very involved with our sons in Hockey and Baseball. He was a coach, assistant coach and at times an Ombudsman. He not only enjoyed but loved watching them play. So many wonderful memories.

Yves was a kind, thoughtful and above all a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family with all his heart and his family loved him with all their hearts.

Goodnight and God Bless you my love until we meet again xxxxx Gone but never ever forgotten.

The Leclair family would like to thank the Jewish General Hospital especially Dr. Yves Morin, Dr. Nancy Morin, Dr. Kavan and Dr. Vanounou and all the nurses and staff for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Yves.

We would also like to thank the CLSC Pierrefonds especially Dr. Agbodoh and all the nurses who were a Godsend for Yves and us.

Lastly, we would like to thank the CHUM, the Doctors, nurses and staff who fought so hard with Yves to the very end.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse et le cœur lourd que la famille d’Yves Leclair vous annonce son décès, survenu le 20 novembre 2021.
Il était l’époux adoré de Donna, l’amour de sa vie et marié pendant 48 années magnifiques. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses bien-aimés fils : Jasen (Elizabeth), Patrick (Pamela), Nicholas (Felicia); son fils de cœur Williem; ses petits-enfants : Victoria, Sofia, Bryce, Briana, Keira; sa sœur Nicole; ses beaux-frères : André, Kerry; ses belles-sœurs : Andrea, Beverley, ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis.
Que ses parents Anna et Roméo l’accueille les bras ouverts en compagnie de ceux qui l’ont précédé dans la mort : son frère Robert et son beau-frère Glenn notamment.
Yves avait une personnalité attachante et un merveilleux sens de l’humour. Il était toujours prêt à aider ceux dans le besoin. Il avait un très grand cœur.
Yves était ce qu’on appelle un « homme de famille ». Il était le plus heureux entouré de ses garçons, ses petits-enfants, sa parenté et ses amis. Il adorait la vie et il l’a vécue pleinement.
Yves travailla fièrement pour Air Canada pendant 35 ans. Il était très impliqué dans le syndicat et le comité de santé et sécurité.
Il était très actif dans la pratique de plusieurs sports : hockey, baseball, softball et golf. Il s’est grandement impliqué auprès de ses fils en agissant comme entraîneur de hockey et de baseball. Il occupa les postes : d’assistant-entraineur, d’entraîneur et d’ombudsman. Il n’aimait pas simplement le jeu, il adorait regarder jouer ses garçons. Que de merveilleux souvenirs!
Yves était attentionné, conseillé et par-dessus tout un mari, un père, un grand-père aimant. Il aimait sa famille de tout son cœur et sa famille lui rendait bien.
Bonne nuit et sois béni, mon amour, jusqu’à nos retrouvailles. xxxx Jamais tu ne sombrera dans l’oubli.
La famille Leclair désire remercier l’équipe de l’hôpital général juif de Montréal et tout spécialement les Dr Yves Morin, Dr Nancy Morin, Dr Kavan et Dr Vanounou pour les soins incomparables et la compassion démontrée à son égard avec l’aide des infirmières et du personnel exceptionnel.
Nous désirons également remercier le Dr Agbodoh et les infirmières du CLSC Pierrefonds pour ses anges qui ont pris soin d’Yves.
Pour conclure avec les remerciements, nous voulons souligner le travail acharné de l’équipe médicale qui ont tout tenté à la fin de sa vie.
