In Celebration of

Jenny Yuet Chun Tam

February 18, 1952 -  July 6, 2017

Jenny passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with cancer on July 6th, 2017. Loving mother of Brian, Queenie (Albert) and Ivy (Chi), and affectionate grandma "por-por" of Nathan, Ellie and Joshua. Together with our father, Charence, we will cherish our memories of her. She will also be dearly remembered by her family and friends.

Jenny was always devoted to her family and a caring friend to many. A kind and strong woman, who always put others before herself. She loved traveling, gardening and painting. Jenny was brave and unafraid of new challenges and responsibilities.

The family would like to sincerely thank the medical staff at the Notre-Dame Hospital for the wonderful care and support.

Visitation will take place on Thursday July 13, 2017 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, Québec, H2V 2P9, (514) 279-6540.

The chapel service will be held at the same location on Friday July 14, 2017 at 11:00am followed by burial and reception.

In lieu of flowers and money, donations to the Cancer Research Society (https://www.crs-src.ca/in-memory-jenny-y.c.-tam-1952-2017) in her memory would be greatly appreciated.

My deepest sympathy to Queenie, her family and her loved ones. The loss of a Mom is one of the hardest loses that we can endure in our lifetime. But the love of a Mom is one of the strongest emotions that we can be given...something that can never be taken from us...may the memory of your Mom's love, warm you and bring you comfort you during this difficult time, Queenie.
All the best to you and your family.
