In Celebration of

Tommasina Giannelli Karelas

April 21, 1939 -  April 5, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tommasina Giannelli Karelas on Sunday, April 5th, 2020 at Lachine Hospital Camille Lefebvre long term care pavilion in Montreal at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Vassilios Karelas. She will deeply be missed by her children Antonia, Antonios, Kyriakos (Lucie), and Eyphemia, her grandchildren, Jasmine, Nikolas and Mikaela. Predeceased by her siblings Anna, Pasquale and Theresa. She will be missed by her sister Pasqualina as well as all her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Tommasina was a loving and proud woman, a social butterfly with a quiet strength. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and had a very special place in her heart for her daughter Eyphemia who was by her side at every moment. We will remember her courage and inner strength as her zest for life was indescribable. She enjoyed cooking up many incredible tasty dishes and enjoyed the company of family and friends at home.

Due to the current restrictions, a private service will be held on Thursday April 9th, 2020 followed by the burial at Mount Royal Cemetery.
