It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Timothy Mataragas on November 26, 2022 at the age of 61.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dionissios Mataragas and Maria Haikalis. He was the brother to the late Mavra and is survived by his brother, Panagiotis and his sister-in-law, Toula. He is survived by his nieces, Maria (George), Athanasia (Jules) and Dionissia. He was the great-uncle of Alexandros, Kiriaki, Sofia, Nicolas and Juliana. He also leaves behind relatives and friends in Canada and Greece. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 1st from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC.

Funeral service will take place on Friday December 2nd at 1pm at the Evangelismos Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church 777, Rue Saint-Roch, Montréal, QC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Timothy’s memory to the Salvation Army or to a charity of choice.
