In Celebration of

Sylvia (Sally) Philylla Audrey Carlton (née Rushbrook)

January 24, 1945 -  April 10, 2019

Peacefully at home with her family, on April 10, 2019. Much loved wife of Colin, mother of Rosemary (Hicham) and Stephanie (Rui), and grandmother of Jaime. The family sincerely thanks Dr. Stephen DiTommaso and Corinne Boussin of the CLSC des Faubourgs for their kindness and compassionate care.

A private remembrance will be held in Montreal. If so wished in recognition of her lifelong passion, donations can be made in Sally’s memory to The Brooke: Action for Working Horses and Donkeys (https://sally-carlton.muchloved.com/).

Rose,
I so sorry to hear about this great loss for you and your family. Your mother will be dearly missed by many. How amazing that she had such a great passion for horses, and that she was able to live her life doing what she most loved.
You are one of the most caring woman I know; I’m certain she felt your love and support in these last years.
Take good care ❤️
