In Celebration of

Sybil Cummins

November 10, 1921 -  October 9, 2020

Passed away peacefully on October 9th 2020 at the age of 98.

Lovingly remembered by her son Raymond(Sharon)and daughter Elaine(Luciano). Sybil was predeceased by her precious son Michael, her beloved sister Gwendolyn, and her brother George. She will be missed by her 100 year old sister Daphne, her nieces Linda and Debbie, her nephews John and Craig, and many other family members and friends.

A large part of Sybil’s heart remained in St. John’s, Newfoundland where she was born and brought up by her mother Beatrice, who lost her husband John at a young age. Sybil had tremendously fond memories of singing in church, dancing, laughing with her friends and family, and working at the Department of Public Health and Welfare. She went on to live in Otterburn and Mont St. Hilaire, where she formed wonderful new memories with family and friends, many with whom she played bridge. She continues her journey in peace, as she lovingly touched so many with her strength of character, kindness, humour, love of talk and song, desire for fair play, and endless devotion to family.

A family gathering will be held at Mount Royal Cemetery.
