In Celebration of

Sunita Ravikumar / Unni Nayar

July 11, 1960 -  December 9, 2019

SUNITA RAVIKUMAR / UNNI NAYAR
July 11, 1960 - December 9, 2019

Passed away peacefully at her home in Pincourt on December 9th, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Ravikumar, loving mother of Nishanth (Shirin), and caring grandmother to Raina and Rayhan. She will also be sadly missed by her mother (Tulsi Unni Nayar), sister (Anita), and many cherished friends and relatives.

Twenty close family and friends from Canada, India, and the US joined for her last rites on December 13th, 2019 at the beautiful arboretum of Mount Royal Cemetery. The following afternoon several hundred from Sunita-Ravi-Nishanth's community in Montreal and Ottawa gathered for a heartwarming visitation at Belvedere Funeral Complex, set in a serene bird sanctuary.

One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more…"

It's with great shock that we read the news and had to read it multiple times to know we weren't hallucinating. I have known Sunita Aunty for 13 years and have been family friends since. Sunita Aunty has been one of the few people who took a lot of care and interest in keeping our friendship alive and treated us like her own family. Sunita Aunty will be missed a lot but will eternally live in our hearts. Our deep condolences and support to Ravi Uncle, Nishanth and family.

At a loss for the right words. We will miss you so, so much. Your support, encouraging words and smile made our lives so much better. You were always there whenever we needed you. We love you so much and will miss you terribly. We know that God wanted his Angel back so we will go on knowing you are watching over all of us.
