Stella passed away Monday, November 15th 2021. Her fight with Alzheimer’s finally came to an end.

Beloved wife of Denis Baffis (passed), devoted mother to Zoe (Angelo Mylonakis), Vicky (Dennis Kaloyannis), and Mary (Giuseppe Frenza). Sister to now deceased Magdalene Dimitriou and Spiros Xenos. Loving grandmother to Peter, Denise, Irene, small Peter, Alex, Matteo and little Denise.

Stella was born in Katastari, Zakynthos and emigrated to Canada at the young age of 15 where she married her beloved husband Denis of almost 50 years. Stella was so proud of her children. She’d call them her “diamonds”. An avid baker and cook, she’d spend hours in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes to feed her family and friends. Always willing to help her children in any way, she made herself available to be with her grandchildren day in and day out. She will be missed dearly to anyone who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at the Mount Royal Funeral complex, 1297 chemin de la Foret Outremont (QC) 514-279-6540 on Tuesday, November 23 at 11am. Visitation will be Monday, Nov 22 from 5pm to 9pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
