Dear Abe,
I just read, with great sadness, about Sandra's passing. I could not let this difficult time pass without some word of consolation. I remember Sandra as one of the people who always put a smile on my face, especially when she was regaling me with her stories of picnics, replete with peanut butter sandwiches and Bisquit, Grand Fin. She was a very special lady, whose presence made any event that much more bubbly and enjoyable. Her everyday honesty and straightforwardness were assets we would all be the better for emulating. Please accept my deepest sympathies and my hope that your grief will be replaced by the warm memories of this wonderful lady. With much warmth, Howard

I first met Sandra 50 years ago in Montreal. Over the years Sandra and Abe were always close to me. Sandra always radiated a wonderful warm radiance. She took a great interest in others and loved Abe, Adam and David. I remember the very many happy times I spent at their home
Sandra, we will miss you and one day will meet you in a cheerful and happy place.

Love,
Ellis

When we were growing up, the two sides of the Dannacker family would spend a lot of time together, family dinners and other family occasions bug and small. I particularly remember gathered around a 10 inch TV screen watching the Ed Sullivan show together. I can say I saw the Beatles with Sandra the first time they performed in North America. Even before her teens, Sandra was her own person. We both remember her fondly/
