In Celebration of

Richard Kitchen

May 10, 1950 - May 31, 2022

It is with great sadness we announce that Richard Kitchen passed away, peacefully in his sleep on May 31st, 2022. After fighting a tremendous battle with Parkinson’s Disease for more than 20 years, those who knew him can find comfort in knowing he is now at peace.
He will be forever missed by his wife Carol Ann Sutton Kitchen, his daughter Alissa Kitchen, his son in law Karim Charafeddine, his grandchildren; Zayn & Luna Rae Charafeddine, and his nephew David Kitchen. He also leaves behind many other cherished friends and relatives.
We feel his love and presence daily and know this is not goodbye. To quote one of his favorite songs, "He’s stepping out. He's moving on. He's going to see the world. Like a rolling stone…"

The family will welcome friends and relatives on Wednesday June 8th from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Cimetiere des Trembles. 15005 Sherbrooke Street East. Service to follow at 2:00 pm at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Canada.

Richard and I became friends during our High school days at Fredericton High school. We both shared a common interest in playing snooker. After High school we began chumming around spending some time at the Riverview Arms tavern and the Cosmopolitan Club. We also began travelling back of Doaktown to fish for Trout at Valentine and Island lake and angle for Salmon on the Nashwaak river. We kept in touch over the years. We were good friends. R.I.P Richard! Like my good friend Frank Wilson who Richard knew quite well said on his dying bed to me, "I will see you on the other side!"
