Dear Laurie and family,
My sadness is overwhelming.
The entire OMFS community is grieving the loss of a beautiful, and generous man.
I will forever miss his sense of humor, his warm personality and magnificent smile.
He meant so much, to so many people.
I feel blessed to have experienced his friendship: thank you Rick.

Dear Emery Family - Odette and I and our entire family are so very sorry for your loss. Rick was an incredible guy and a great friend. He was usually always first to arrive for Wednesday Hockey and wore his nicknames proudly (Grandpa Rick and Rocking Chair Rick) while playing like a man much younger than his years, always competing and always having fun. Rick also let Team Emery in the Michelin Tournament (I think in some years there were as many as 7 Emerys on one team!). I will miss Rick's friendship tremendously and I hope that you can take some solace in knowing how special Rick was to so many people.. He will be greatly missed.
With all our love,

Andy, Odette and family

Dear Emery's, - Wow - what a loss. Rick did and played everything with 100% heart. He was one of the guys that I looked most forward to seeing when going to play hockey. There'd always be something said or done on his part that would put a smile on my and many other faces. There was no getting off easy in the corners. Rick was a very accomplished person and will be missed by many - He will live on through all of you. My sincere condolences.
