Passed away peacefully on August 23, 2020 in Montreal. He is survived by his loving wife Rosa, and his children Patricia (Brian), Peter, and Janet (David).

He will be missed by his sister-in-law Sze Yin, brother-in-law Philip (Cathy) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Chung Sing, his mother Song Hum and brothers Ju Jim (Hau Chun Hum), Ju Hock (Ngan Chun Wong) and Ju En.

Phillip attended Pui Ying School in Taishan, China. He came to Canada as a teenager in 1950 and graduated from McGill University in Electrical Engineering in 1957. He worked at Northern Electric (Nortel) until his retirement in 1989.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and supporting staff at Verdun Hospital and CHSLD Ernest-Routhier for their excellent professional care. Special thanks to Jean-Philippe and the other social workers for their wonderful service.

A private family service will be held on August 28, 2020. In light of current restrictions there will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Phillip’s memory can be made to the Jewish General Hospital.
