In Celebration of

Paulette Micyk (née Grus)

August 10, 1931 -  October 23, 2022

August 10th 1931 to October 23rd 2022

Paulette Micyk (née Grus) aka Mama, aka Babcia passed away in the comfort of her home with her loving daughter by her side. She was 91 and was born in France. As a child she witnessed the terror of WW2. After the war she immigrated to Canada in 1952 where she married her one and only true love Sgt. Michel Micyk. With the birth of her son and daughter her life became complete and with the arrival of her grandchildren she cherished her time spent with them. She was an amazing tribute to Motherhood. She was unselfish, caring and generous. Her radiant smile made us all feel warm and secure. She will be missed dearly and her legacy will remain eternal

She loved to play games, do math calculations, and baked a delicious cheesecake or black forest. She loved to laugh, dance and travel. Spending time with her family was her joy. She enjoyed her walks with the company of her angelic caregivers Rosalina, Jovy, Vivina, Jetty, Macrina, Susan, , Victoria, Jacqueline, Lanie, Sylvie, Robert, Marivic, and many others. She also enjoyed her time at Nova West Island where she was always happy to see Helen, Ken, Ashley and the many other volunteers.

She is survived by her daughter Evelyne and grandsons Nicholas Tinkler (Victoria Cyr+ 1 to come), Christopher Tinkler (Aphroditi Carra), and her son Richard ( Maria Condon) and grandchildren Michael, Kyle, Christian and Ellysa.

Viewing will be held at the Belvedere Funeral Home in Senneville Tuesday November 1st from 11 to 1pm followed by a private family burial and service at the Field of Honor.

A light snack and refreshments will be served at the funeral home

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Research will be greatly appreciated.
