In Celebration of

Paul Charles Rozga

June 26, 1949 -  July 21, 2020

Paul Charles Rozga peacefully passed away on July 21st, at 8:13 am, at the Jewish General Hospital.

How does one sum up a life? Are there enough words to express the depth of impact Paul made on so many people.

My nickname for Paul was ‘’The ComeBack Kid’’, he always fought with every ounce he had! He went thru so much, always never complaining and smiling to see people and food, which he loved, to the end.

My brother was my hero, I loved and devoted my life to his well-being. He always felt safe knowing his sister was there. Paul was the genius in the family, so interesting, smart, and a joy to hear his conversations on any subject. He never missed a beat to extrapolate all he could, even in his last breath. Beloved son of Maurice Rozga and Irene Kaminski, brother of Eliane. Paul, your love and memory is seared in my heart forever. Till we meet again, I’ll bring music and pizza.

Thank you to Dr. Theodore Kolivakis and his team that never gave up on us and was our saving grace all these years.

Thank you to the dedication, professionalism and heroism of the staff of the Jewish General Hospital. You were our safe place to land under such severe circumstances and we are eternally grateful.

The humanity and professionalism of the Dialysis Department is beyond words. The doctors and nurses and PAB’s, you gave Paul so many more happy years.

To Maimonides, you were his second home and for that we are grateful. The dedication of the people that loved and cared for Paul was heartfelt with much gratitude.

To Sharon, Paul’s care-giver, thank you for all you’ve done with love for him. You were GREAT and Paul respected and loved you dearly.

Finally, to all our friends, thank you for following our journey, with your support and love. Thank you and God bless you all and your families.

Paul’s burial will take place at the Mount Royal Cemetery (1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, H2V 2P9, 514-279-6540) on Monday July 27th, 2020, at 11 am.
