It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Dorothy Rose Stevens born in Saint-Hubert on July 3rd, 1956 to Dorothy Britton and Frank Stevens. Life-long friend to Debbie (Mac, Bobby and Terry). Survived by siblings Violet, Richie (Louise) and Lenny and to the late Bobby (Jean), Ronnie and Kenny (Francine).

Beloved mother of Aaron Patricia Burnett and mother-in-law to Christopher Boulanger.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews Nancy, Brian, Chris, Tim, Andy, David, Craig and Crystal.

Patricia loved the sun, the beach, traveling, painting, music, singing, dancing and celebrating every occasion with friends and family. Remembering her in her healthy days would be the best way to honour her life.

Due to the current COVID restrictions, there will a celebration of life when time permits and an interment in Saint-Hubert at Urgel Bourgie at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the SPCA Monteregie.

Thank you for any great memories that you can share of mom. Mom was always happy to see people and always had a lot of fun wherever she went.

Aaron, I am so sorry for your loss. They say the loss of a mother is the first sorrow in life that we face without her. I hope that knowing she is forever looking down on you smiling provides you some comfort. She was such a wonderful lady, always so welcoming and happy to see everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Xo

She may be gone but never forgotten. Your mom will be greatly missed.

From volleyball camps, tournaments, and endless fundraising with her "mom's association"...she was always on the go and would light up any room she entered.

MOM'S 50th!

When my mother was going to turn 50, I asked her if there was one place she could visit in the world, where would she like to go? She said "Hawaii" without hesitation and then thought a second and said "well Hawaii is probably too far and expensive so I'd like to see NYC.

Little did she know, I had won a pass at work (Air Canada) and could bring her! We packed up and headed to NYC and shopped on 5th Avenue (window shopped), saw the Statue of Liberty and walked for miles and miles catching all the sights.

From NYC, we flew to Calgary to see Auntie Jean (moms lifelong friend and sister-in-law). Calgary was our break to relax and have a nice visit with Jean before I broke mom the news that our adventure was not over, and that we were now headed to Honolulu, Hawaii!

Well that was quite the flight ✈️ for mom, flying in business class eating and drinking with a sleeper bed that most will never experience. She thought that was really something. It was a long flight but worth it.

On a budget we shopped around for a hotel room on the day of and were lucky to find a hotel within walking distance of Waikiki Beach! We spent days on the beach, hiked Diamond Head, helped sea turtles and of course stopped for a Luau! Now if you've ever been to a luau, you probably sat to eat and watched the show, well not my mom! She was up dancing for the entire show and signing Tiny Bubbles as loud as she could. They had a blast and she might have had a twirl with a couple of Hawaiin hunks and potentially a chief in a grass skirt...

It was a trip of a lifetime and we were so blessed to have the time off and the opportunity to go! Some of moms ashes will be spread at some of these sites when time permits.

The picture attached is when mom got to the beach and sunk her toes into the sand. She was just so relaxed and happy. Mission accomplished!
