L’HONORABLE P. MICHAEL PITFIELD
C.P., O.C., CVO, c.r.
1937-2017

Dear Caroline, Tom and Kate and family,

It was an honour to know your father. I wish I knew him when he was well. I enjoyed his smiles and watching his face light up with familiar music and current events. His opens opened wide last Monday when I told him phantom of the opera was playing at place des arts. I will miss him. I want to wish you my sincere condolences for your loss. Thinking of you at this difficult time.

My condolences to the Pitfield family. Michael made a very significant contribution throughout his life, and yet it was his leadership and teaching during the Queen's EMBA program that forever made a difference in the lives of many students. He pushed us to be better and stretched our minds in new directions, and the Class of 1994 will be forever grateful. As one of his students, I am honoured to have shared life's road with him.
