George Alston Narick

December 16, 1932 -  April 15, 2020

Passed away peacefully from Alzheimer’s disease with Covid-19 complications at St. Margaret Residence at the age of 87.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Pearl, of 64 years. Caring father to Angel, Ainsworth and Anissa. Devoted grandfather to Elijah Bornstein.

He was “Mr. Narick” to generations of students at Baron Byng High School, where he taught English, and was head of the English Department. He retired after teaching English at Mount Royal High School in 1994.

Alston will remembered as a passionate classical music aficionado, along with his love of theatre and movies.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. If desired, remembrances can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or CanadaHelps COVID-19 Healthcare & Hospital Fund.
