In Celebration of

Michael Boer

December 4, 1945 -  January 7, 2021

Born in Berlin, he is the son of the late Hans Boer and the late Elfriede Bethke. He was predeceased in 2010 by Ruth Beaudin, his life-partner for 36 years, and leaves his daughter Elise (Sebastien Brisson), granddaughters Eva Blue and Clementine Bee, his brother Chris Boer (Jane Hutton), along with relatives and friends in various parts of the world. Michael was active in many causes to build a conscious, active, and compassionate and inclusive society. He stood alone, alongside others, to promote these ideas.

He bids good-bye to all friends and family and to the waters and forests that surround us, with deep thanks and few regrets. Friends may use their time, talents and resources to support the persons and causes, large and small, which make our world inclusive, respectful and peaceful. Michael, Ruhe in Frieden.

Michael, Ruhe in Frieden.

Elise, our profound condolences to you and your family.
The first time I met your Dad was on a Sunday afternoon in Sainte-Dorothée. He had a Fiat and was changing the fan belt that somehow wound its way from the front of the motor down under to a place where the oil pan would normally be.
He certainly had an affinity for the unusual and this is what we admired in him.
Rest in Peace Michael.
