In Celebration of

Mary Gujdan nee Kris (Krish)

August 22, 1932 -  April 16, 2022

After succumbing to various illnesses, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Kris Gujdan at the Montreal JGH, just months shy of her 90th birthday. She now joins her beloved husband John F. Gujdan who passed away in July 2019. They will be buried together on Lilac Knoll at Mount Royal Cemetery on Monday April 25th.

Mother to Elizabeth (Dr. Mark Mazzarelli) & Jennifer. Baba to her cherished grandsons Spencer Gujdan-Barrette and William Gujdan-Barrette (Amelia Vinetti-Huot). Sister to Andrew (Charlene) and always delighted Auntie with the many family photos sent over the years from her nieces Andrea (Stephen Logan) and Karen (Ken Bellows).

Heartfelt thanks to too many doctors to list here for their care over these many years, to the CLSC Verdun for helping Mom to stay at home as long as possible, and Sunrise Beaconsfield. A very special thank-you to the caring staff of angels at the JGH Palliative Care for ensuring dignity and peacefulness in Mom’s last days.

All services will be held at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex (1297 Forest Road, Outremont, 514-279-6540).
Visitation on Sunday April 24th 2pm-6pm.
On Monday April 25th 10am Condolences in Chapel, 11am Chapel Service, followed by burial of both MARY GUJDAN AND JOHN GUJDAN, and finishing with reception luncheon.

Respectfully require masks and sensible precautions during this time of COVID.
