It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Norah Roberts in her 96th year. Marje was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Christie of Blissfield, NB. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Kenneth D Roberts and his wife, Norma. She is also survived by her niece, Kathryn, her husband, Gregory Snedeker and daughter Mia of Gill, MA; Smythe cousins in Toronto and Edmonton; Furnell cousins in Australia; and her dear friends, Margarita and Austin McKell.
Marjorie was employed at Dominion Engineering for several years, where she was an avid member of their Telemark Ski Club. She continued to ski well into her seventies. Marje was also employed at Marconi Canada for more than 25 years. Marje was a world traveler, visiting friends and family all over the globe.
Marje was a resident of the Sunrise in Beaconsfield, where she received excellent care. Her family is very grateful to the staff there.
Private funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date, planned for a Spring service at Mount Royal Cemetery.
