Although she was the only grandparent that I ever met, I find myself fortunate to have been able to cherish her for the short 23 years of my life. My grandmother and I were very close and I am thankful for all the moments we were able to share together - be it over weekly family dinners, holiday vacations or our casual chat over cocktails. Through any ups and downs, grandma was always the glue that held everyone together and I believe that her passing will continue to do so. It's funny how life goes, for the early stages of my life, Grandma took care me..... for the later part of her life, I was taking care of her. I think that just emphasizes the importance of family and illustrates the circle of life. I too one day will find myself at that stage in life and I can only hope that I have surrounded myself with the people I hold closest to my heart, as she did with great care. I will miss her very dearly but when I'm down and out, I will reminisce about the times we've shared together and the values she has instilled within me.

To my dear mommy,

Beautiful mommy,

You were so strong in adversity ,you were a beacon for us all. You stood strong and left in all your beauty. It was your birthday and you decided to leave when we were all there. We needed to accompany you, as you felt the true love of your family.

We miss you every day , we will remember your funny and witty replies. You understood life and lived it to the fullest.
You can be proud of the family you built , because without you it would never be the same.
You are resting now and free to travel the skies wherever you want to go, which is Maine or Florida.
We will find strength id difficult times remebering your courage.
You can be proud of your life, in the end you were a winner.
Every day I miss you but know that you are in a better place and that is comforting.
Love you always,
