À Montréal, le 28 juillet 2020, est décédée à l'âge de 81 ans, Mme Maria Pia Prevedello, épouse de M. Pietro Sarai. Elle était aimablement nommée « Pia ».

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses deux filles bien-aimées Diana (Jean-Pierre) et Rossana (Peter), ses petits-enfants Sabrina (Dany) et Stefano (Alisia), sa sœur Milena (feu Romano Vido), ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis au Canada et à l’étranger (Italie, Australie et Etats-Unis).

Dotée d’un grand cœur, Pia était une personne authentique d’une générosité et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelles. Elle a consacré sa vie à sa famille et vécu selon ses valeurs, ses traditions, sa croyance. Elle était toujours prête à aider les autres et à leur offrir son soutien. Son énergie contagieuse, son rire et sa sagesse nous manquent déjà.

Nous tenons à remercier le groupe médical du Pavillon des Bâtisseurs pour les soins attentionnés envers Pia.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Maria Pia Prevedello, affectionately known by all as Pia, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Montreal.

She is survived by her husband, Pietro Sarai, her beloved daughters Diana (Jean-Pierre) and Rossana (Peter), her grandchildren Sabrina (Dany) and Stefano (Alisia), her sister Milena (widow of Romano Vido), as well as several relatives and friends in Canada and abroad (Italy, Australia, United States).

Pia had a heart of gold, she was a truly genuine, generous and kind person. She devoted her life to her family, living according to her values, her traditions and her faith. She was always ready to help others and offer her support. Her positive energy, her laughter and her wisdom will be greatly missed.

Special thanks to the medical group at Pavillon des Bâtisseurs for their devoted care of Pia.

A Montreal, il 28 luglio 2020, è mancata all'età di 81 anni, la signora Maria Pia Prevedello, conosciuta come Pia, moglie del signor Pietro Sarai.

Lascia nel dolore le amate figlie Diana (Jean-Pierre) e Rossana (Peter), i nipoti Sabrina (Dany) e Stefano (Alisia), la sorella Milena (vedova di Romano Vido) e molti parenti e amici in Canada e all'estero (Italia, Australia, Stati Uniti).

Pia era una persona compassionevole, generosa e gentilissima. Ha dedicato la sua vita alla famiglia, vivendo secondo i suoi valori, le sue tradizioni et la sua fede. Era sempre pronta ad aiutare il prossimo e offrire il suo sostegno. Ci mancheranno molto la sua energia, la sua risata e la sua saggezza.

I didn't have the chance to know you personally but I had the chance to meet your daughter Rossana. I was thus able to measure the legacy that you bequeathed to your children. May the Almighty give you a place of choice with him.
Continue to watch over your children and grandchildren.

Depuis que nous nous connaissons, j'ai eu le plaisir de rencontrer votre mère à quelques occasions. C'est une belle dame, douce et très gentille. Je garde de bons souvenirs d'elle.
