It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Guimond ( Keoughan ) on September 18th 2021, beloved wife of late Jean Pierre Guimond.

Margie leaves behind her siblings : Katherine, Mary Eileen, Ann, Dorothy, Susan, Paul and late Eleanor, late Pat , late Jimmy and late Michael. She leaves behind her children : James Pierre, Carol (Dave), Michael (Sandra), Jo-Anne (André)and Gerard (Sylvie), her grandchildren : Lisa, Felicia, Claudia Rose and William as well as her great grandchildren : Ethan, Oliver and Anthony.

Margie, a native of the Miramichi (Chatham), came to Montreal to start a family with her beloved husband Jean Pierre (Pete). She lived a full life and took part in many activities close to her heart. She was proud of her Irish roots and stood up fervently for her beliefs. Her great faith in God guided her throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by all.

Our family would like to thank the CLSC de l’Est de Montréal , the CLSC( Mercier-Est-Anjou) and the Palliative Home - Care Society of Greater Montreal for the excellent care given . The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday September 22 at 1:00PM preceded by visitations to the Church from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Ste.-Louise-de-Marillac St. Aloysius Parish, 7901 rue St. Claire, Montréal. Burial to follow at cimetière des Trembles, 15005, Sherbrooke East (PAT).
