In Celebration of

Margaret Elizabeth MacRae Bouskill

November 14, 1935 -  November 6, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Margaret (Peggy) Elizabeth MacRae Bouskill on Friday November 6, 2020, in the comfort of her home. Beloved and devoted wife for 58 years of the late Brian Bouskill. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Greg (Jennifer), Tim (Ronna), David, and her cherished grandchildren, Corrie, Melissa, Olivia and Harrison. Always in her thoughts were her dear Brother and Sister-in-law George and Marilyn MacRae and her Sister Heather MacRae.

She was just shy of her 85th birthday and planned to celebrate at Lake Sir John, which she loved so much.

Peggy loved her family and never missed an opportunity to send a pop-up card for birthdays. She was always asking about her grandchildren and was thoughtful about helping out wherever she could. She kept in touch with her brother George in Ontario and Sister Heather in Australia who she deeply loved.

It gave her great pleasure volunteering for over 40 years at the Montreal Children’s Hospital Gift Shop. She enjoyed socializing at the Women’s Club luncheons, spending winters at Long Boat Key in Florida and weekends at the Lake with a good cappuccino from la Brulerie. Peggy was a very strong willed person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a beautiful and classy lady who will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

There will be a small private family interment at the Mount Royal Cemetery on Friday November 13, 2020 where she will rest beside Brian.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Montreal Children's Hospital.

My condolences to David and his extended family. David spoke frequently at work of the love he had for both his parents, and how important it has been for him to move closer to them in their final years since his return to Quebec.
