Manny Barnoff

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Manny Barnoff at the age of 90. Manny passed away peacefully at the St. Jerome hospital and we would like to thank all doctors and nurses for their wonderful attention towards Manny.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Isabel of 70 years , his son Dalton {Debbie Burns}, his "boy" Thomas McQueen {Anita Khandkar} , grandson Benjamin { Melanie-Justine}, Jamieson , granddaughter Marie-Laurence, sister-in-law Joan Soja, brother-in-law Richard Hucal { Ann} and many nephews,nieces and great grandchildrens and friends from all over the world. He was predeceased by his brothers Harold and Bernard "Berold".

Manny was a Montreal legend well known as the founder of THE BAR-B BARN restaurant which was his true love since 1967. Just to keep Manny busy he also founded Transcontinental Equipement in 1952. His passion in life were golf at Summerlea and Val Morin, fishing in Parent, and baseball as coach and a fan.

Family will receive condolences at Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Qc H2V 2P9 on Monday, January 20th, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in private on a later date.
