In Celebration of

Laura Anne Morris nee McCallum

November 20, 1951 -  August 23, 2019

November 20th, 1951 – August 23rd, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne, surrounded by family on August 23rd. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years David, beloved children Andrew (Genie) and Laura, and cherished grand-daughter Victoria-Belle. Sister to Meg (Rick), Ian (Elaine), Allister (Soroya), and aunt to Ainsley, Alexander, Sara, Briar, and Alexandra.
Those who knew Anne will remember her fondly for her infectious personality, love of laughter, kindness, and her ability to forge connections with everyone around her. Anne cared greatly for others and was always putting everyone else’s needs before hers. Her devotion to her family was simply immeasurable and Andrew and Laura were her number one priority.
Anne had a talent for décor and organization (tidiness) and was always planning her next project. She was fond of traveling and exploring new places and cherished her frequent trips to Bermuda and Switzerland. Anne enjoyed spending time in her gardens, at home in Beaconsfield and in Vermont; her happy place.
Anne fought a courageous battle against cancer and never lost her positive attitude nor her sense of humor throughout the ordeal. We would like to thank Dr. Linda Ofiara, the doctors and nurses at the Cedar Cancer Center at the MUHC as well as the staff at the West Island Palliative Care Residence for their tremendous support.
Anne will be greatly missed by all of us and would want everyone to remember “it’s all good”.
As per Anne’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
