It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen Elizabeth Cousens (KIT) peacefully in hospital, on January 18, 2022, in her 86th year.

She will be deeply missed by her son Phil (Christena), whom she loved with all her heart. She also leaves behind her beloved close family, Pam (Gerard), sisters Jenny, Frances-Jean, brother John and their families as well as numerous cousins and relatives.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Residence Pearl and Theo and their kind staff, who took such wonderful care of her. Particular thanks to Theo, who took Kit into her heart. Thanks also to the kind staff at the Verdun General Hospital, who treated Kit and her family with dignity and respect, in such difficult times.

A celebration of her life will follow at a later date, where her beautiful spirit can be remembered with love.
