Julianna Lowicka

September 24, 1928 -  January 22, 2023

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of Julianna Łowicka Więcek on January 22nd 2023, at the age of 94 years. Julianna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Danuta Więcek Radzioch, her granddaughters Anna Radzioch Guérin and Sylwia Więcek Jančík, her grandsons-in-law Pascal Guérin and David Jančík, and her great-grandchildren Lily Guérin, Isabella Guérin, Nicholas Guérin, Linda Jančík, and Martinka Jančík. Julianna was predeceased by her husband Gabriel Więcek, her son Edward Więcek, her son-in-law Christopher Radzioch, her siblings (Jan Łowicki, Eugeniusz Łowicki, Danuta Łowicka Chudy, and Wanda Łowicka), and her parents (Stanisław Łowicki and Anna Ptak Łowicka). Julianna loved cooking, gardening, and taking care of her family. She was born and raised in Poland, and resided in the city of Częstochowa for over four decades. More recently, she was a permanent resident of Canada. A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Sunday, January 29th 2023 at the Our Lady of Częstochowa Roman Catholic Church, located at 2550 Gascon Avenue in Montreal, Quebec H2K-2Y2. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30th 2023 at the Mont Royal Funeral Complex, located at 1297 Foret Road in Outremont, Quebec H2V-2P9. Condolences begin at 10 AM, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11 AM, and then the internment. The family wishes to send our deepest thanks to Dr. Elias Matouk, Dr. Margaret Hughes, and Dr. Gordon Crelinsten for their exceptional care and compassion.
