It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joy Herman Byers on December 16, 2021, at the age of 78. Loving wife of the late Dr. Albert Martin Byers and mother of Jennifer Byers, sister to Mira Goldstein and the late Ian Herman, and sister-in-law to Michael Goldstein, Ann Herman, Mary Brule, Dorothy Byers, the late Robert and Pat Byers. She is an Aunt who is fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Jackie Gonshor, David Goldstein, Ester Sadan, Michael, David, John, Phil, Andrew, Steve Brule, Cheryl Labbett, Tracy Reid, Janet Byers-Stimec, and John Byers. She will be also remembered by her many great nieces and nephews of the Byers, Brule and Herman families.

Mrs. Joy Byers will be remembered for her artistic talents, leaving behind her life’s work of gorgeous paintings and drawings. She will also be remembered for kindness towards others, her unconditional love for her family, and dry wit and sense of humour. She will be sadly missed by all.
