We were extremely sad to hear of John's passing. John and Audrey have been wonderful neighbours of ours for more than 30 years. We really loved seeing them out for walks or in their driveway, always an opportunity to have a lively chat about travel, politics, the neighbourhood, society or whatever was in the air. John was a kind, thoughtful man with a great sense of humour. We will miss him very much.

Having started as a young engineer in TMR 37 years ago I have many fond memories of John. I now sit in his old office at the same desk he had and hold the position of Town Manager, the position he held when I started. I think of him often and still recall , cherish and use the comments and advice he had given me so long ago. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to to his family and friends. Ava
Dearest Warren Family,
It is great sadness to learn of Mr. Warren's passing! Mr. Warren and I became good friends following many a year working together and sharing non-work related activities. Following his retirement, we still continued this friendship.
I will always treasure his righteousness, wisdom, compassion, loyalty, but most of all the person he was "JUST" with one and all.
He'll always have a place in my heart. I only wish his passing was peaceful and brief.
On behalf of myself and my family members that were privileged to have known him, our most deepest condolences! R.I.P.

To Mrs. Warren and family,
It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of Mr. John Warren. I had the pleasure of working for him with his secretary Estelle and then of course, changing departments but still working for him. He was a kind and very fair man. We (Wally, my husband) and I will forever hold in our hearts the wonderful memories of going hiking with the two of you. Those were the days! With our deepest and profound sympathy to all of you, Wally and Christine Butynski
Dear Audrey & extended Warren family,
I was saddened to learn of John's recent passing. He was a true professional and a gentleman. I was honoured to have followed in his footsteps as the Town Manager of TMR but what big shoes to fill! He made such a significant contribution to the development of the Town both as Town Engineer and Town Manager and to making TMR the important community it is today. Reg Dawson may have been the mayor but John was the go-to guy to get things done!
My fondest memories are our times together just shooting the breeze be it about working with council, dealing with firemen or how to fix up a Central Vermont caboose.
He had a full and interesting life and left many memories to keep his spirit alive during this difficult time and for the future. My deepest sympathies to you and your family on his death.
