John Peter Flanagan

Peter passed away on May 22, 2018 at the Montreal General Hospital
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou (Wilder) Flanagan, his sister Pat Thomas, and his son Michael (Jane
Livingston), daughter Patti (Michael Berlinguette), son Neil (Nancy Stride) and daughter Maureen, also
stepdaughters Cynthia and Susan. He was predeceased by son Kevin and wifeShirley Palmer.
His grandchildren are Logan, Connor, and Jake Drummond; Ryan and Kate Flanagan; Beavan and Tristan
Flanagan; and his great grandchildren are Claire, Reese and Palmer. Peter was the son of Dr. James Cyril
Flanagan and Elizabeth Randall Baile.

He graduated in Agriculture from MacDonald College where he made so many wonderful friends. He lived on and ran the family farm in Arundel and later moved to Montreal where he worked for Fitzpatrick Construction Ltd. He was an accomplished sportsman, gardener, and woodworker.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, May 31st. at 11 am

1297 Ch de la Forest, Outremont
Reception to follow.

A ceremony will be held later, at the Arundel Cemetery, in the Laurentians, where Peter has family roots and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Peter's memory may be made to the Montreal General Hospital.
