It is with profound sadness that the family of John Elliott announce his peaceful passing on February 22nd 2023 at the age of 75 after a well fought battle with brain cancer.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Diane; children Blair (Emma) and Chris; grandchildren Kiely, Liam, Lucas and Cailin; great-grandchild Banks; his siblings Peter (Linda) and Eileen (Brad); as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving parents (John and Eileen).
After a very successful career in business, John enjoyed an early retirement with Diane; spending many a winter in St-Augustine, Florida. He spent his summers on the golf course, out on a nice walk and many an afternoon enjoying a coffee at a local shop with Diane and friends. Not satisfied with having concurred the business world, John set his sights on Hollywood. He could be seen on stage in many a production from the Lakeshore players or Hudson Community Theatre; as well as a small recurring role on a CBC drama.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 4th at 6p.m. at Belvedere Funeral Complex, 22025 Trans-Canada Hwy, Senneville, Quebec H9X 0B2, 514 457-4440.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence for their excellent care and compassion. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Residence in his memory.
