In Celebration of

Jacqueline Marguerite Cameron Karasik (née Stuart)

December 7, 1930 -  March 12, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Karasik (née Stuart) on March 12th, 2022 at the age of 91. Daughter of the late Duncan James Stuart and Georgina Begg. Beloved wife to the late Bennie Karasik and a loving mother to her son Stuart Flinn, who predeceased her. She will be sadly missed by her brother Donald (Patricia), her niece Laurie (Alex) and nephew Paul. Jacquie was a very special auntie to Olivia, Isabella and Jewell Petrovic. She will always be remembered by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her best friend Margie White. She was a member of the Contactivity Centre which is a Community Centre powered by seniors. She loved spending time there with all her dear friends. She will be fondly missed by her friend & trainer, Joanne (Terry.)

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital. As per Jacquie’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Montreal Children’s Hospital which held a special spot in her heart. May she rest in peace.

My condolences to Jacquie’s family. She was a valued member of the Busy Bees at Contactivity. She knitted throughout Covid for our bazaar. I just delivered her some new yarn to start a new project! This was so sudden but I am glad to know that she didn’t suffer for too long. We will miss her spunk and her smile. She was an inspiration and I was happy to have had the chance to know her.
