Irene Harrison (Née Asselin)

November 19, 1935 - June 26, 2019

Passed away on June 26, 2019 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Elgar. She is survived by her daughter Brenda, son-in-law Glenn and grand-dog Lady. She also leaves her sisters, Alice, Rose (Jim), Janet, Lydia (Neville), Theresa (Brian) and brothers, Narcisse, Emmeth (Elsie), Larry (Donna), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Visitation will be held on July 1, 2019, at Blythe Bernier, 940 Ogilvy, from 2-5 pm and at 7-9 pm including a celebration of her life to be held at approximately 7:30 pm. Her burial will be in Barachois, Gaspe at a yet to be determined date.

Brenda, They say that the loss of a mother is your first grieving without her. I know what you and your mom shared and know that statement applies. Your Mom was a lucky lady to have such an amazing, caring, loving daughter that was there for her in her final weeks. She left this earth loved and she knew it. To help you through this loss, remember all the happy times you shared and smile. She would want that. She would also want you to take care of yourself.
