In Celebration of

Herbert Hough

October 10, 1928 - March 3, 2023

Hough, Herbert F. (94) of Town of Mount Royal passed away in his sleep on March 3rd.

He was born on October 10, 1928 to James and Marguerite (Fox) Hough.

He attended St. Francis Xavier and Sir George Williams College but found his true passion as an entrepreneur when he founded MBS Bearing Service Inc.

Married the love of his life of P. Louise (Bougie) and was the loving father of Eric and Susan, Grandfather of Emilie, Justin, Thea, Victoria, Selena, Mikaela Past member of the Beaconsfield Golf Club, Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club and the Forest and Stream. Former UNTD (University Naval Training Division) Minesweepers and Frigates.

A bit of a scrapper in his youth but as a sportsman he loved playing tennis, and squash at the MAA. Became a golfer at 65 and won some cups. Avid hunter and the love of boating owning several cruisers.

Visitation at Mount Royal Funeral Home on March 14th at 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel and a reception.

In lieu of flowers please give to the Parkinson Canada and to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
