In Celebration of

Henry Wood

January 17, 1943 -  January 31, 2022

On January 31st, 2022, Henry Wood, at the age of 79 passed away suddenly at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Pre-deceased by his loving wife, Fern and survived by his three daughters, Catherine (Duncan), Jacqueline (Matei) and Jennifer. Loving grandfather to Noah, Matthew, Allison and Amanda. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Dorothy, Kenneth and Janet, and David and by his nieces and nephews, as well as his friends. Former long-time teacher at Souvenir Elementary School, Chomedey, Laval. Residing in Pointe-Claire, Quebec since 2011 at Résidence Sélection West Island. Memorial service to be held June 3rd, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex. Burial and reception to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory would be appreciated.

My sincerest condolences to you all. I remember him so well walking down the halls of Souvenir, terrifying (at the time) the students with his stern voice, but looking back, I remember his dry humour.
