In Celebration of

Grace (Gatta) Winfield

October 12, 1954 -  April 4, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Grace Winfield after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Her love for her family came first and she will be deeply missed by her husband of 42 years, Barry. She was a devoted mother to her children, Melissa (Flavio), Sandra and David. She was the absolute greatest Nonna to her cherished granddaughters Mila and Sofia. She leaves behind her sister Mary, sister-in-law Ronnie, brother-in-law Yale, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many life long friends. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Aniello and Ida Gatta.

Grace had a way of making you feel safe, comfortable and completely at ease no matter the situation. She did this by constantly putting the needs of others above her own and doing so with a smile on her face. Her contagious laugh and great sense of humour will be deeply missed. Grace had a passion for travel and cooking. While no one will ever quite compete with her incredible stories and recipes, all who were lucky enough to cross paths with her will keep her forever in their hearts.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, April 13 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM taking place at Belvedere Funeral Complex, 22025 Aut. Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC H9X 0B2

A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 413 Rue Main, Hudson, QC, J0P 1H0 on Friday, April 14 at 11:00 AM.
