Maria & family,
My deepest sympathies to you for your loss. May he rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences, he will be missed.
Fond memories of him calling on every birthday will stay with us forever. God bless him
I left Montreal in 1972. My job took me, first, to Quebec City, then to Ottawa. But, in all those years since 1972, George never failed to telephone me on my birthday. That's the kind of guy George was. When we were younger, we golfed and played a lot of hockey. One year, George even got me into weightlifting. With our wives, we attended concerts, drive-in movies and went on picnics. And, much later, though it was a bit of a drive from Quebec City or Ottawa, I even attended four or five of the weekly "lunch with the boys", that George organized.
George will be really missed by a lot of people, including us.
Our deepest sympathy to Bess, Maria and Chris.
Dick and Claire Inwood.
My deepest sympathies on the loss of Mr. Stamatelos. I fondly remember the day that he came golfing with Chris and our other friend. We had a ton of laughs that day, Chris lining up for his shot and his dad yelling, “Keep your head down! Bend your knees! Keep your eye on the ball!!” By the time Chris had swung, well it wasn’t a good shot, put it that way. Memories like that stay with you for life!!
Godspeed Mr. Stamatelos.
