With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband and cherished father Garry Joseph Robert Gosse who suddenly succumbed after a nearly won battle with kidney disease. Born March 30th, 1944 Garry died June 14, 2019 at the age of seventy-five. He was predeceased by his father Norman, his mother Winnifred Best, his dear sister Norma, and her husband Gerald Holland.

Family was everything to Garry and he leaves behind in great sadness treasured wife Lois LeDrew, beloved son Matthew Moses and cherished daughter Emily Cecile. Also his dear sister Beverley Nickle. Also left to mourn his dear aunt Patricia Best as well as nieces and nephews: The Hollands, Glenn (Laurie Roch), their son Jonathan; Brent, Lorri, her sons Tyler and Ryan; The Nickles, Shari (Tony O'Connor); the late Warren, his son Zachary; Darren (Diane Allen) and their children Matt, Andy, and Jill. He also will be missed by sister-in-law Hazel Porter (Ross Wilson), her children Suzan, Robert and Lisa as well as their children.

Also grieving his extended family and many many friends. Garry was outgoing, and caring. He loved people and their stories. A friend and helper to all who needed him he was not just a compassionate listener but a problem-solving practical man loved by the many people whose lives he touched over his lifetime. The world has lost a good man. Please honour his memory - be kind to a friend, neighbour, a stranger.

Visitation will be held at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 chemin de la Foret, Outremont (QC) H2V 2P9 on Friday, June 28th 2019 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, June 29th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a reception from 12 p.m. to 2 pm. Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 2nd at 1 p.m. at the Mount Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favourite charity.
