In Celebration of

G.E. Marion Roy (nee Henry)

July 29, 1924 -  April 5, 2021

Peacefully, in her sleep, on Monday, April 5, 2021, in her ninety-seventh year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Donald K. Roy. Survived by her daughters Lynn Pentz (Rod), Marlee Lamothe (Bob), and sons Glenn (Anne) and Andrew (Beverly), cherished grandchildren, Eric, Tim, Jill, Amy, Christopher, Michael and Sarah, and great-grandchildren, Grayson, Levi, Jackson and Sebastian. Sadly missed by her sisters Joan and Doreen. Predeceased by her brother Ross.

Marion was a former teacher, an annual McGill book fair volunteer, a hospital volunteer, an avid reader, bridge player and crossword ‘puzzler’, a fabulous story/joke-teller, a lover of music, church-goer, traveler and long-time cottager, a friend to all, and of course, a wonderful, stylish mom and ‘nannie’.

Due to COVID, cremation has taken place and burial and memorial service will take place at Mount Royal Cemetery at a later date.

Donations can be made, in her honour to The Old Brewery Mission.
