Fred George Ghantous

November 21, 1933 -  March 6, 2021

Fred George GHANTOUS, 87, of Montréal, died March 6th, 2021 at Pavillon Alfred Desrochers in Montréal, of COVID-19.

Fred was born on November 21st, 1933, to Salim and Lottie Ghantous in Montréal, QC.

Fred attended McGill University while working and graduated at the top of his class.

He married June Motter on September 14th, 1963, and they had two children, Stephen and Tanya.

Fred was a chartered accountant and held the office of VP Finance for Télé-Direct prior to occupying the position of Treasurer at Pratt & Whitney Canada.

His nature was always loving, kind and thoughtful; that of a true people-person, who would help anyone in need without hesitation.

Fred is survived by his spouse, June, children, Stephen and Tanya (Chris), grandson Etienne, sister, Najla Darwish, brother-in-law, Andrew Motter (Nonie), and many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Donations may be made to the Cancer Research Society or to a cause of your choice.
