FUNERAL POSTPONED IN SPRING 2022

On June 27, 2021, in her 95th year Eunice "Cookie" Wilhelmina Thompson passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of her son Richard. Cookie was funny, spunky, intelligent, unafraid of what people thought and never hesitant to speak her own mind. We will miss the twinkle in her eyes and her crisp observations. Cookie was both a champion darts player and a talented softball pitcher. Madame Biscuit was often sought out for a game by the neighborhood children. Cookie was actively involved in the Royal Canadian Legion and was a member most of her life. She held various executive positions including Secretary, Treasurer, 1st Vice President, and President of the Montreal East Branch 173. Born in Pointe-aux-Trembles November 2, 1926 Eunice is survived by her children Honey (Donald Walker), William, Bob (Chloe Hutchison), Richard and Robyn (Ton Groenestein), 12 beloved grandchildren and 18 cherished great grandchildren. Eunice was predeceased by her husbands William (Wally) Wallace Wiltshire, Arthur Winslow Brisebois, her daughters Doreen (Douglas Gray) and Kitty (Stuart Horne) and her siblings Ernest (Irene), Ida (Kenneth Carter), Lillian (Jerry Lessard), Roberta (Richard Perron), Madeline (James Bunclark) and Chester (Lillian).
