After a long, full and happy life Betty Sutherland Firstbrook Panet-Raymond has left us. She was an athlete, a businesswoman and a dedicated wife and mother. Widowed twice she was a wonderful and beloved wife to Bradshaw Firstbrook and Barney Panet-Raymond. She was an inspiring and tirelessly supportive mother and role-model to daughters Jill and Caroline Firstbrook, and a formidable grandmother to Hannah (Mark Howlett), Colin and Stephen Smith, and Bradshaw and Robert Underhill. Respected mother in-law to Ian Smith and Bob Underhill, who she regularly beat at golf. Sister to Hector Sutherland and beloved aunt to his children Linda, Colin, Anne, Brian and Jane. She was always generous, spirited and fun. She will be greatly missed.

We will celebrate her life at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, H2V 2P9, on Monday May 27th at 2:00 pm, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedars Cancer Foundation www.cedars.ca would be appreciated.
