In Celebration of

Elizabeth McDermott

November 20, 1947 -  December 9, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a great lady, Elizabeth McDermott. Born in Ormstown on November 20th, 1947, she leaves behind her daughter Janou (Daniel and Storm), many siblings: Claire, Jeannette, Louise, Robert, Roger and François and many, many friends and colleagues.

Elizabeth’s love of words and reading was only out shined by her true passion for animals. There was never a time where we didn’t have a animal (or two) in the house.
Always the first on the dance floor, her love of life was only matched by her generosity and kindness. To honour her memory, let’s promote kindness and positivity and adopt a pet. We know she always did!

For those of you celebrating with us virtually, please raise a glass of my mom's favourite wine Pisse-Dru (Beaujolais) in her honour. The details for the online funerals on Sunday December 20th, 2020 at 11 a.m. on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89968510670 .

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Elizabeth’s name to the shelter where Storm was adopted. Events@rockyroadrescue.com
