Passed away at the Cité de la Santé Hospital in Laval on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at the age of 82 years.
Beloved husband of Georgia Papaioannou. Loving father to Stavros and step-father to Dimitrios (Dimitra Roumeliotis), Maria (Paul Varoutsos) and Christina (Thanasi Matziaris). Cherished grandfather of Eleftherios and Sergios Eftychios Katsipis and step-grandfather of Georgios and James Varoutsos, George and Constantina Roumeliotis and Chrysovalantou Matziaris. He will be dearly missed by his other relatives and friends. Resting at M.A. Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy Avenue (corner Stuart), Park Extension on Thursday, October 21st, 2021 from 4pm-8pm. Funeral Service to be held at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 4865 du Souvenir, Chomedey-Laval on Friday, October 22nd, 2021 at 11am. Thence to Notre-Dame-de-l'Esperance Cemetery in Ste-Dorothée. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Cité de la Santé Hospital; Fondation Maxime-Letendre.
