Edward "Ed" Lavigne

August 9, 1939 -  July 28, 2022

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Edward J. Lavigne
in his 82nd year, after a lengthy & courageous battle with cancer on
July 28, 2022 at Teresa Dellar Palliative Care surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Bathurst N.B. to Edmond Lavigne & Merilda Aubé. Ed came to
Montreal where he met his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Haggart. Together
they started a family, 2 daughters, Ed's pride & joy, Heather (Mike) &
Lynn (Paul). He adored his grandchildren Kalie, Sean, David, Grace &
the pups.
A brother to Vina (Gilbert), Clarence (Alvira), Dorothy (Gerald), Rita (John),
Bernice (Leon), Gerald (Irene), Cletus (Judy), Bernie (Lois) & Cleo (Chris).
Brother-in-law to Theresa (Johnny), Joan (Brian), Mike (Kay), Patsy (George)
& Coleen (Russ). Ed was also adored by many nieces, nephews, family
members & close friends. Loved by all, we will miss your smile, wisdom & strength.You will forever be in our hearts.

Celebration of life to be held August 12, 2022 from 6 – 9 pm at Belvedere Funeral Complex, 22025 Trans-Canada Senneville, H9X 0B2

We would like to thank everyone from the CLSC (especially Karine Dupuis & Dr, Annick Terret-Hans), Nova Hudson (especially Anna Maria Westcott) and all the staff and volunteers at the Teresa Dellar Palliative care, for their amazing help and support through a difficult time.
