It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Monther Rahal on July 23, 2021. Loving husband to Nadia (nee Haddad). Devoted and loving father to Jason (Linda) and Andrew. Proud grandfather to James, Brayden and Thomas. Beloved brother to the late Philip Rahal, survived by his sister Marta Sabbagh (New Jersey, USA) and his brother Dr. Radwan Rahal (Athens, Greece). He will be missed by his brother-in-law Sam Haddad and his wife Jackie and by his many nieces and nephews.

In 1963, Monther began his medical studies at RUDN University in Moscow, Russia.
After graduating from Medical School, he went on to specialize in Internal Medicine at the University of Birmingham in England.

In 1970, he moved to New Brunswick to complete his residency at St John Hospital. He then moved to Montreal to begin working at the Reddy Memorial and St Mary's Hospitals. In Montreal, Monther ran his family medical practice for over 25 years taking care of his many patients with the utmost care and compassion.

Visitations will be open to public on Wednesday July 28th, 2021, from 3 to 8pm at Mount Royal Funeral Complex 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V 2P9.
