It is with great sadness to announce that Mom peacefully left us on the morning of December 29, 2019.

She was 101 years young.

Her seven children; Audrey (Bob), Brenda (Hubert), Madeleine (late Andrew), Bill (Ronni), Bob (Janet), Victor (Cathy), Norman (Cindy), her 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, her 2 great-great -grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews- will all miss her deeply.

Mom enjoyed her picnics in the park, sharing a hot cup of tea, and a good joke with her visitors. Her blue eyes, cheerful disposition, positive outlook and her ruby red lipstick will all be a daily reminder of her, her love of life, her love of laughter and her unfailing love for her family.

She will join her late husband W.T. Hunt, her nine brothers and sisters, her late parents, Emily G, Stewart, and J.A. Arthur Phaneuf.

We would like to thank Chateau Westmount for the care they gave her during her stay there and to the Bayview Pointe Claire, 2nd floor staff, for the care given over the last 3 plus years. A special thank you to Zuan, Stephanie and Lorraine for services rendered.
