After a courageous and dignified battle, Dan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Son of the late Toma and Lucia Danielescu. Devoted husband of 58 years and soul mate of Julia Daniels, cherished and loving father of Andrea Daniels Rosenbloom and father-in-law of Richard Rosenbloom. Much adored grandfather of Taylor, Ashley and James. Most loved brother of Dr. Viorica Solomon and the late Doina Danielescu and brother-in-law of Loni Goldenberg, the late Suli Solomon, Eva and Eugene Szenasy and Bela Konrad. Special uncle to Erika Szenasy and Doru and Doinita Bratescu. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Romania, and by all of his great friends.

Dan received his Engineering Degree at the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, he went on to obtain his Masters of Engineering at the University of Waterloo and was a successful engineer and devoted professor. He was a kind and gentle soul, loved by all who knew him. Dan leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his three grandchildren who brought him tremendous joy.

He will be forever missed and always carried in our hearts.
