With profound sadness we announce that Dale passed away suddenly at the age of 96.
Cherished and survived by Ema, his wife of 64 years. Loving father of Helen (Tony Iacovino) and Peter (Erin), and grandfather of Michael, Genevieve, David, Adrian, Emily, Sarah, Mitchell, Jake, and Joshua. He also has 5 great-grandchildren.
Born in Czechoslovakia, Dale came to Canada in 1951 and was an accountant for many years, and in the 1960's Dale and Ema built their cottage which was always a great source of pleasure. We remember his love of music, playing violin and viola, and his love of nature particularly forests and mountains.
Dale was a pillar of the Czech community in Montreal, spending countless hours balancing the books as treasurer, and generally involved with all the activities of the association.
Visitation on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 3:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm at the:
